Important West Farm Reminders

Season’s Greetings,

We hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season. Just a few friendly reminders:

  • Annual Holiday Décor Contest voting will take place the evening of December 11th. A link to vote anonymously will be emailed and posted on the 11th.
  • Annual Luminary Night is December 12th from 5-8pm. Please see previous emails and https://westfarmhoa.com/december-festivities-donut-tent-luminaries-donations-and-holiday-decor-contest/ for more information. Supplies are ready to be picked up! Bags and tea lights are in a bin under the bulletin board at the pool house. Sand is in the common area near the lower pool parking lot. *Tip: wait until sand is dry to place in bags
  • The afternoon of December 12th, we will have Sweet G’s Donut Tent in the pool parking lot from 1-4pm. Please consider stopping by and purchasing a hot beverage, mini donuts, caramel apple nachos, etc.
  • Annual HOA Meeting is January 18th and will be conducted via ZOOM. Please email any questions/issues you’d like addressed. Candidate applications are due no later than January 3rd. Please email questions for the meeting and applications to support@mycmg.com and copy kristenlrbell@outlook.com. HOA Candidate Application 2022.
To learn a little more about why to consider joining the Board, please click on the following link. https://cedarmanagementgroup.com/join-the-hoa-board-reasons/. Online voting will be open after the meeting and remain open until 5pm the following day.
  • West Farm’s governing documents require pet owners to pick up waste and dispose of it properly. We have received numerous complaints regarding pet waste. This is a pet friendly neighborhood, but I don’t think anyone wants someone else’s waste in their yard or in the common area. According to our violation and fine policy, failure to comply with Article VI; Section 1l of our covenants will result in a $25 fine.
  • Safety: We have received several complaints regarding reckless driving in the neighborhood. This includes, but is not limited to, speeding, erratic driving, failure to stop at stop signs, and driving through roundabouts. Please follow the rules of the road and let’s keep our streets safe.

Thank you all for a wonderful year in West Farm. An agenda, meeting link, candidate information, and proxy form will be sent after the holiday.

Sincerely,

West Farm HOA

Kristen R. Bell

Fall HOA Updates 9/27

Happy FALL! Below are a few updates from your HOA Board.

  • The City will be connecting the sidewalk (Howard & Pele) located across from the Village entrance. They are scheduled to begin work to lay the pavement today.
  • A contractor is slated to begin repairs on the leaning fence on Howard near the Village entrance next month. Part of the repairs include adding concrete and braces to prevent future wind damage.
  • The pool will remain open until October 3rd. Our pool company will begin the shut-down process Monday morning, October 4th. Please check the deck box before that time and take home any pool toys belonging to you.
  • We will have updates regarding the progress of the crosswalk in the coming weeks.
  • We are happy to announce the creation of the West Farm Landscape Committee. The landscape committee serves in an advisory role to the Board. The goal is to communicate landscaping community needs to the West Farm Board of Directors. Their primary role is to provide information and options to enable the Board to make fully informed decisions for the common good of the Association. This is accomplished in two ways. The first is common area inspections to look for possible ways to improve and enhance common areas. The second is to review potential common area landscape improvements, propose changes or maintenance issues and make recommendations to the Board. If interested in volunteering, please email support@mycmg.com and copy kristenlrbell@outlook.com with the subject line “West Farm Landscape Committee” by September 30th. *Click here for the full description.
  • We will share information about food trucks and social events via email, www.westfarmhoa.com and Facebook. Our Fall edition of “The West Farm Ways” will be published next month. If you are interested in contributing content for the newsletter, please email support@mycmg.com with the subject line “West Farm Newsletter”.
  • Huge shout out to all of our committee members for working exceptionally hard this summer to welcome many new neighbors, keep our pool safe, architectural changes in agreement with our CC&Rs and bringing our neighborhood together with social events and community service projects.
